Beyond the Harvest Health Ministries began in January of 1997 and it is directed by John Zarouhliotis a native of Greece, who studied Electrical engineer/Computer Science, and his wife Bernadine Zarouhliotis a native of Trinidad, who studied drafting and engineering science, but God had other plans for them. He called them both and helped them to see the importance of a healthy body and mind and therefore they started through Beyond the Harvest Health Ministries working full time for God. They both were trained in doing medical missionary work by Sebastian Teh of China Project and through Uchee Pines Institute where they attended one of their 18 day programs. They also have extensively studied nutrition and done extensive research on food additives. The purpose of this ministry is to assist individuals on the health of both the physical as well as spiritual well being. They believe that clearing the body from physical impairments, will also clear the mind and will provide individuals with spiritual discernment to make correct decisions. With this in mind they have conducted several health seminars and cooking classes and have served people in several different North American conferences as well as in Mexico, Jamaica and the Greek mission of SDA. In addition, their cooking programs have been featured in 3 Angels Broadcasting Network. For the past three years to-date they are working in the island of Trinidad & Tobago where they have conducted numerous health seminars, cooking classes and medical missionary training. Both John and Bernadine are Medical Missionaries specializing in total vegetarian cooking as well as in nutrition.
